STATHMERE

The Climate Resilance Community-Based Project installation in strathmere NJ was designed and created by NJ artist, Jessica Osborne-Mungekar and the Strathmere community through a collaboration between Ocean City Arts (OCAC) and the Schiavo Public Library. The public library invited local community members and Jessica to create visual artwork that explored flood awareness and climate resilience. Together, the participants had a great time painting their stories, what they love about Strathmere and what they want to preserve for future generations on a large 35 inch sphere and five-inch personal spheres. Ages ranged from 5-75.
