Perkins Center of the Arts Collingswood, NJ

Jessica Osborne-Mungekar had the privilege of custom designing and creating rocks and spheres that were added as a permanent installation in the rain garden at Perkins Center for the Arts in Collingswood NJ.

Constructed of recycled Styrofoam, wire mesh and cement, Jessica hand designs and shapes rocks with enough space for the sphere to be mounted and secured on top. When the rock formations are complete, Jessica transforms the rock like shapes into real looking rocks using acrylic paint for color and UV resistant sealant to lock the colors in place.

The Spheres are constructed using steel frame and layers of cement with tones of colored paint and UV resistant sealant to complete it.
